Notes & Airdrop are great pieces of tech in class. I particularly like the lack of features in notes allows pupils to concentrate on writing. I encourage pupils to start in notes even if writing that will end up in more complicated app.

I wonder. My old primary school, Sandaig, had a postcard project. Got postcards from all round the world. Kids took photos of them & posted to postcard blog. Head Teacher got scary bill from Getty as they identified one of the blurry snapshots as theirs. Blog Deleted:-(

Hi Aaron,
I do hope you do not get too exhausted. I find you breadcrumb trail useful and interesting. In some ways breadcrumbs are a more productive vein to mine that piles of full articles or loafs.

Creating an RSS feed that also works as a styled web page.

Hi Doug,
I was wondering what was going on, the old feed was behaving strangely in my reader. The new one works really nicely in inoreader.

I do get different behaviour in different browsers. Firefox, where I’ve an RSS extension, shows the RSS; Safari offers to open the feed in NetNewsWire RSS reader; Chrome shows the webpage.

Alan’s comment about pinboard is interesting, I used to have a sort of tumble blog running off the rss from my delicious links.

I taught my Year 8 English class on Thursday afternoon. I have no need to tell you about how relatively rubbish it is to teach into the void that is TEAMS. We will look back on TEAMS the same way we (people of a certain age…) look back on BBC computers – that is, appalled/amazed at how basic and clunky they were.

Anyway, I eventually convinced a couple of students to speak (speaking students are gold dust, aren’t they?)

this is a lovely post. Not anything about Teams, but the current state of online learning, expectations and how it feels from a teacher’s POV.
