Watched: HARAKIRI (1962 Film) : SHOCHIKU
Great movie. Full of quiet and stillness. According to Wikipedia it lost the Palme d’Or to the Leopard, another film I love. 🎥

Watched The Perfect Candidate from en.wikipedia.org

Watched: The Perfect Candidate ★★★★☆ enjoyed this there is not a lot of excitement, no big drama but lots of insight and things to think about, not least the strangeness of Saudi Arabia.

Watched 1952 film by Yasujirō Ozu from Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.

Watched:  The Flavour of Green Tea over Rice  beautiful, plot seemed a bit thin. Reading about the roots of the script  helped, I think the wartime seeing would have had more punch. The noodle bar name in the subtitles was LOL!

Watched

Watched: Parasite ★★★☆☆ enjoyed it but was not blown away. Didn’t hang together enough for me. Preferred Shoplifters which had a similar start. My wife noted similarities to The Servant 🎬
