Ravens, At last a bright day. I’ve got a new camera, this was at 85x zoom (65 optical and the rest digital I guess) and cropped and resized to 1200 pixels. The zoom lens is a good way to watch at a distance.
A couple of ptarmigan on Troisgeach
A family of herons visited the smaller pond in Victoria Park this evening. To far out for a phone really. A few live photos knocked together with @snapthread and the quality removed with Handbreak.

Walking the edge of Kilpatrick Moor yesterday evening, a buzzard shouted at me for a few minutes.

Walking up the metalled road to the Glen Finlas Reservoir a cuckoo went ahead perching on the telephone wires. At one point it went into the grass and then flew to a rock with a large wooly bear caterpillar in it’s beak.
