Happy New Year

Books I’ve read this year. displayed with my favourite plugin display posts. I’ve found it useful to post books I’ve read. I need to write slightly better notes next year. Lockdown increased my reading a little. 30/10 male to female authors reflect the fact I get a lot of books after my wife.

Went for a short walk round the Kilpatrick Muir this morn. Arrive at sunrise and the car park already full. When we got back about 11:30 the place was hotching. Cars on pavements and verges. This time last year I’d have felt crowded if there has been a handful of cars.

A favourite tree this morning.

Rosy Marbled Dawn
local outdoor informal exercise such as walking, cycling, golf, or running (in groups of up to 6 people, plus any children under 12, from no more than 2 households) that starts and finishes at the same place (which can be up to 5 miles from the boundary of your local authority area)
from: Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance on travel and transport – gov.scot My emphasis.
I’d quite like a version of this map with the 5 miles added on. Is it as the crow flies or by road?
I wonder if someone could do this with google maps or open street map?
