Another distinction that @jjn1 doesn’t have space to make is that social networks are generally poor for sharing with readers in the future due to focus on here and now clicks. Today’s school kids will be able to share school blog posts with their children, not tweets.
I really hate that people use that word in conjunction with RSS. It was never alive. Please find another way to say what you’re trying to say.
