@strandlines I’ve seen them for the past few years, since 2017 according to my blog. Mostly in the nearby Victoria park. Not seen them there often recently despite regular lockdown visits. Today saw a few in Dawsholm park a couple of miles away. There was talk of getting rid of them as an invasive species. I like them.
Magic.
That’s superb!
@johnjohnston I didn’t know they had got that far north. Have you seen them before?

Good grief!
@johnjohnston I had thought they were pretty much confined to the SE. I have learned something new!
@lornamcampbell been seeing them in Victoria park for a few years. Less so this year. Don’t know if these are same ones. Very distinctive screech.
Wow, I love them. I have yet to see them in Glasgow.. hope to catch a peek sometime (and that they make it south to me )
@troutcolor Amazing! I wonder if they’ll make their way to Bellahouston or Pollok Park?
An unexpected visual treat, John, a parakeet in snow. A keeper. Thank you.
Saw them yesterday, beautiful creatures
@1994edu your photos are beautiful! Thanks.
