Fox hunting in the long grass, late afternoon on the edge of the Kilpatrick Braes.
Quite a few redwings in Victoria Park this morning. Didn’t get a good photo.
I’ve seen kingfishers on the Kelvin several times over the years, but today we watched this wee guy fishing across the river catching a few wee fish. So beautiful, thrilling.
Had a walk around Ardinning this afternoon, few dragonflies about, photos of Common Darter (pretty sure)
and Black Darter, perhaps?
I had a warm short walk around the Kilpatrick braes this afternoon. Quite a few butterflies about including this Small Copper.
Meadow Brown on Thyme, Barassie beach on Friday. A lot of butterflies in the grass between beach & golf course.

Had a short walk by Jaw Reservoir, yesterday. Quite a few butterflies about. These posed. A lot of ringlets, a few whites and a red admiral did not oblige.

Saw this guy at Ardinning this afternoon. Given his/her tail might be regrown I wonder if it the one I saw 3 years ago in the same place.
