Wood Pigeons in Ivy

I’ve seen kingfishers on the Kelvin several times over the years, but today we watched this wee guy fishing across the river catching a few wee fish. So beautiful, thrilling.
Took a wee walk from Dawsholm park to the the vet school. Some Gossanders, a dipper or two and a couple of squawking parakeets in addition to this heron.
Had a quick walk through Kelvingrove park this morning. Saw this wee thing dipping in the river.
Along the canal, A goosander, hazel catkins & a boat. Weather sleet, hail and breezy! Thanks to @vanessa for the catkin prompt which got me over the door.

The Dabchicks in the park have had at leat a couple more chicks. I couldn’t really see them just took some photos.
Dabchick & chick. Only one chick at the moment but the adult’s partner seems to be stuck on a nest.
