My heart is full. Yesterday one of the loves of my life got married. @cmdjohnston & @MTImmonsMusic organised the perfect day for themselves & their guests.
Meadow Brown on Thyme, Barassie beach on Friday. A lot of butterflies in the grass between beach & golf course.
It has been a few years since I walked to The Whangie, it got to busy for me as lockdown eased. Glad daughter took me today. Lots of flora, a few birds & a nice lizard on the carpark wall. More on Flickr.

Had a short walk by Jaw Reservoir, yesterday. Quite a few butterflies about. These posed. A lot of ringlets, a few whites and a red admiral did not oblige.

Along the forth & Clyde Canal this morning.
Yesterday I saw this wee one struggling in the grass just as drizzle stopped and the sun came out. I carefully lifted it up held it in the sunlight and it flew off. A Dark Green Fritillary I think.
Kilpatrick Muir Flora, walk this afternoon, overcast warm with a breeze. Quite a lot of ringlets fluttering.
Goldfinch in the Grounds of Gartnavel Hospital. Patches of weeds and wildflowers paying off.
Saw this guy at Ardinning this afternoon. Given his/her tail might be regrown I wonder if it the one I saw 3 years ago in the same place.
