I got neither I am afraid,
My wp-config.php now has
define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, false);
which seemed to do the trick.
Update: toggled this back to true until I talk to my host.
@jgmac1106 yes I seem to, while debugging something else I found that my WP_CRON was disabled. Enabling that has sorted a few thing out. (Hope you get this one).
