Kilpatrick: First hawthorn leaves, just & no more. Blackthorn buds, later here. Buzzard, larks, raven, grouse & goldfinch. Lesser celandine, golden saxifrage & First primrose. Trees on the moor bare.
@jeremycherfas I thought I had, but it is out of date. The map provider started needing a credit card. I’ll update and put it somewhere and let you know. A mix of AppleScript and stuff.
@johnjohnston Cool. I’m building something purely static with a route and markers on OSM tiles but I don’t have a way to link location markers to their images.
@johnjohnston Non-beauty makes it easier to understand, IMHO. Verbosity helps. You are doing some very clever things, predicated on a standard layout with 8 images and a map. I’m sure you usually have more than 8 to choose from. My case is different, but the list of eightcolours is clever.
@johnjohnston Have you written up how you colour code the photos to the map markers by any chance?

@jeremycherfas What software are you using?
@jeremycherfas I’ve popped the script onto a gist. Not a thing of beauty but it works for me 😉
@ArnoldHoogerwerf For this project, Python.
