We have been watching a pair of dabchicks in Victoria Park pretty much every day during lockdown. Today we saw the first sign a a hatching, a wee foot coming out from under a parent’s wing.
Kilpatrick Braes Yesterday Evening, lots of purple, thistles, thyme, bell heather, yarrow (mostly cream). Fauna: roe deer, kestrels, larks. Lots of parked cars but the Braes were quiet.
