That last post was a reply and the result surprised me a bit. The whole of the post that I replied to became a link/title on the post. So that made nonsense of the status on micro.blog.

@c Thanks Chris,
I am giving the first suggestion a go here. I’ve had the indieweb bookmarks in my favourites for a while, but usually forget all about them. Thanks too for the tip about accepting all webmentions, I’ve added that snippet to my functions.php
Finding a couple of webmentions in my blogs spam folder. Luckily you can filter spam for webmentions. Previously I’ve only had webmentions from twitter via Bridgy. Very excited to see them working from other source. Need more info so I’ve some reading to do.

Getting micro category off home page
Adding titles in editor and via micro.blog
Removing titles from posts categorised as Micro in RSS
I’ve now removed the titles in the RSS feed from posts in the micro category using the_title_rss. So I’ve reenabled adding of titles through wp_insert_post_data. If this works this post will have a title in my dashboard, but all get through to micro.blog
Sometimes there is a wee delay in a post arriving at micro.blog from my RSS feed. The way to avoid this is to have a typo in a post, those seem to get grabbed before I can fix 😉

I went for my first proper walk in the hills today. Been taking things easy since I hurt my knee a few weeks ago. Managed 10 miles so quite pleased. Now messing with ImageMagick.
I take a photo of this fence post the 2 or three times I pass it every year. Sort of zen circle perhaps.
