Liked IndieWeb: The Book (Chris Aldrich | BoffoSocko)
For a quite a while I’ve been thinking about writing a book about the IndieWeb to provide a broader overview of what it is philosophically, how it works, how its community functions, and most specifically how the average person can more easily become a part of it.

This should be very useful. I’ve been trying various indieweb things for a while, but still find it tricky to understand and implement some of the technologies. There is a great wiki, but I think I am more likely to read through a book.

Liked Instagif Is a Polaroid Camera That Prints GIFs, Instantly by Cameron Coward (Hackster.io)
Some projects just seem to stand above the rest, because of the complexity of the work, polish of the finished product, and unique premise tying it all together. Instagif, created by Abhishek Singh, is one of those projects where everything seems to have come together perfectly. It’s a mechatronics engineering marvel, and Singh is able to really showcase his interdisciplinary chops with it.

👍🔗 Amazing: I made a camera that prints a GIF instantly

Understand basic concepts of posting content on your site that's also copied elsewhere, replying to posts on others' sites from your own, and using online free tools to make this work seamlessly

This is really clear avoids all of the technical terms and gets to what I understand is the meat of the indieweb.
