@johnjohnston It’s lovely to see more wildflowers around. Easier maintenance for the council & much nicer than grass. A lot of our roadside verges have been switched, which is just beautiful.
@vanessa certainly is. We have some around here too. Some verges just seem to be left for longer to save money which is all to the good. The ones in the picture are part of an experiment involving mining bees in Victoria Park here.
@johnjohnston It is, except down here where the local councils tend to leave verges long enough to obscure the view for people joining major roads. There’s one junction on the A338 which is an accident blackspot & it’s not always idiot drivers!
