I’ve had bad luck with a couple of pi-tops. Love the idea, but I ended up just using the pi.
I think the pi-top offers a solid alternative to chromebooks. Heaps more capable. Get to build yourself, and available for a similar price point. I could foresee an entire curriculum built around this device itself, not merely its use.
@johnjohnston was the hardware flaky? I love my first gen pi and have been thinking of getting another, turning my current one into a dedicated server.
@eli not the pi but the pi-tops. Cables and connectors didn’t all seem great. I’ve no complaints. About Raspberry PIs really solid one on my desk pi.johnj.info has been running for ages with various projects with almost zero care.
