@johnjohnston Scriptogr.am was probably the biggest one I got into. Using Dropbox with plain text (markdown) files has to be the simplest way of micro blogging. I also hope the approach gains traction.
@desparoz I think I’ve got one of those folders. When I had an ‘always on’ work mac I had an AppleScript folder action that would post md files to my WordPress blog. So could drop a draft from my phone into folder and it was published.
@johnjohnston What’s cool is that I have moved all the files locally from the old Scriptogr.am folder to my blot.im folder, and the old content is just populating there.
Its kind of the ultimate in owning your own (blog) content.
@desparoz I think I’ve a few similar folders in my drop box for auto blogging services that have now gone. Hopefully these ones will make it.
