This has be a bit hampered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.websense.com\/\">WebSense<\/a>, time, lack of pcs and  my classroom organisation. We had a few folk off dancing today so I though I could use some language time for this today. Showed some children the <a href=\"http:\/\/blakedowncofeprimary.blogspot.com\/\" title=\"Blakedown C of E Primary\">Blakedown C of E Primary <\/a> blog I just discovered and their entry on <a href=\"http:\/\/blakedowncofeprimary.blogspot.com\/2006\/02\/day-in-life-of-year-5.html\" title=\"permanent link\">a day in life of year 5 <\/a>  got a few children to co-operate on a similar post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandaigprimary.co.uk\/pivot\/pivot\/entry.php?id=612\" title=\"Permanent link to entry 'A day in the life of p6'\">A day in the life of p6 <\/a> and then comment on the <a href=\"http:\/\/blakedowncofeprimary.blogspot.com\/2006\/02\/day-in-life-of-year-5.html\" title=\"permanent link\"> Blakedown blog <\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also had a few children blog about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.downs.kent.sch.uk\/downsfm\/_downsfmtv.htm\">the Downs FM TV<\/a> show.<\/p>\n<p>I am trying to engineer a sense of connection between my class and children elsewhere and hope a little is better than nothing at all. Time consuming stuff though, 30 &#8211; 45 minutes for the children involved to get the job done. And we have not got round to posting the snow haiku and snow reports we wrote on Monday. <\/p>\n<p>National Writing tests for the next couple of days, but I hope to get a bit more of this done soon. Hopefully the children will like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.talkingteds.blogspot.com\/\">Interactive Chatting Teddies<\/a> as much as I do. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been keen to get the children in my class commenting on other blogs.
