{"id":2357,"date":"2013-02-03T00:01:00","date_gmt":"2013-02-03T00:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/?e=2357"},"modified":"2021-06-26T20:27:19","modified_gmt":"2021-06-26T19:27:19","slug":"radio-edutalk-at-acts-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/radio-edutalk-at-acts-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Radio #EDUTALK at ACTS Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/images\/2013-02\/edutalk-setup-acts_2013-02-03-133632.jpg\" alt=\"edutalk setup\" title=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I was lucky enough to be invited to the <a href=\"http:\/\/acts.edublogs.org\/\">Association of Chartered Teachers Scotland &#8211; <\/a> conference. <\/p>\n<p>A ton (scientifically measured) of teachers turned up to discuss education, on a beautiful Saturday, at the Stirling Management Centre. <\/p>\n<p>As usual with these events the only problem is having to decide which sessions to go to. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I broadcast and recorded both Keynotes, the first \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/edutalk.info\/radio-edutalk-sir-tim-brighouse\">Radio #EDUtalk Sir Tim Brighouse &#8211; <\/a> is now on <a href=\"http:\/\/edutalk.info\/pages\/radio-edutalk\"><span class=\"caps\">EDU<\/span>talk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There was a great buzz around the conference with a very positive feeling to the discussions. As well as recording the Keynotes and a couple of sessions I also grabbed a few folk for a chat about their particular interests and their impressions of the conference. It continues to delight me about how generous folk are if you ask them to share.
