This, briefly, allows you to take an assignment from DS106 and add a filter. Shades of John Davit&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newtools.org\/showtxt.php?docid=724\">Learning Event Generators<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For example this remix:  <a href=\"http:\/\/remix.ds106.us\/remixassignments\/stop-frame-photography-remixed-uncle-bob\/\">stop frame photography [remixed]: Uncle Bob \u2014 Remix Machine<\/a> takes this original assignment <a href=\"http:\/\/assignments.ds106.us\/assignments\/?p=29570\">stop frame photography<\/a> and adds this remix card:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/images\/2012-04\/2012-04-12_uncle_bob_remix.jpg\" alt=\"Uncle bob Remix\" height=\"114\" width=\"460\"><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Use Existing Media<\/strong><br  \/><\/p>\n<p>Remix is using the created media of others &#8211; it does not count as a remix if you use your own assignment work. I am tempted to dust off a copy of flash and make a wack a ds106 mole game<img src='https:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/pivotx\/includes\/emoticons\/trillian\/e_121.gif' alt=';-)' \/>.<\/p>\n<p>DS106 has been looking very interesting of late, especially the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/jimgroom\/ds106-the-open-online-community-of-digital-storyte\"> Kickstarter project<\/a> which has gathered a pile of money for developing DS106 in lots of interesting ways. (I am in for a t-shirt<img src='https:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/pivotx\/includes\/emoticons\/trillian\/e_121.gif' alt=';-)' \/>).
