{"id":1189,"date":"2007-02-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"1970-01-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/?e=1189"},"modified":"2015-08-14T05:53:02","modified_gmt":"2015-08-14T05:53:02","slug":"teachers-vs-pupils","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/johnjohnston.info\/blog\/teachers-vs-pupils\/","title":{"rendered":"Teachers vs Pupils"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"float:right;margin-left:10px;margin-bottom:10px;width:200px\">\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/drtchock\/308484718\/\" title=\"photo sharing\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/99\/308484718_6782e93a45_m.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:solid 2px #000000;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-size:10px;margin-top:0;\"><\/p>\n<p>  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/drtchock\/308484718\/\">We are so many, and they are so few.<\/a><br \/>Originally uploaded by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/people\/drtchock\/\">drtchock<\/a>. <\/span><\/div>\n<p>In the latest edition of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandaigprimary.co.uk\/radio_sandaig\/index.php\">Radio Sandaig<\/a> the final segment was Teacher&#8217;s vs Pupils were a couple of staff take on a couple of children in a pupil generated quiz ( a draw this time). <\/p>\n<p>I was encouraged in looking at the  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scotedublogs.org.uk\/\">ScotEduBlogs news front page<\/a> earlier today to see that most of the last 10 SEB posts were from pupil blogs.<\/p>\n<p>It has always been a worry to me that there are many more teacher&#8217;s blogs in Scotland than pupils ones. 186 to 33 in October 2006 according to  the <a href=\"http:\/\/scotedublogs.wikispaces.com\/\">scotedublogs wikispace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course by this time in the evening the teacher&#8217;s are dominant again, but <i>I think<\/i> this is a good sign as every blogging teacher could support several children&#8217;s blogs.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t usually ask questions here, but I&#8217;d be interested to see how many folk agree with my gut feeling that pupil blogs are more important than teachers ones? <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are so many, and they are so few.Originally uploaded by drtchock.
